The May jobs report concerned many economists as it came in much lower than expected. But now, even with revised numbers for May, the June report is something to cheer about as it came in at 112,000 more than analysts had predicted. The gain in jobs was spread over many different industries. However, wages still remain stagnant.
The unemployment rate is now 4.9%.
