Cyclist Kristin Armstrong, will celebrate her 43rd birthday this Thursday along with her third gold in the women’s time trial event, beating Russian Olga Zabelinskaya by more than five seconds in Rio. Armstrong previously won the event first in Beijing in 2008 and then in London in 2012.

Armstrong won her first cycling championship in 2004 in road racing but has since made her mark in the time trials, “where cyclists race solo instead of in a bunch,” reports Marissa Payne.

Armstrong manages to train (and win) while working a full-time job as a community health director in Boise, Idaho and raising her 5-year-old son with her husband, Joe Savola, says ESPN.
