The Daily Beast is reporting that the star of Hannity is looking to leave Fox News, not because of any particular lawsuit or impending scandal but because Sean Hannity feels that Fox just ain’t the same without his old friend Bill Shine, says Jezebel’s Joanna Rothkopf.
Hannity might be gone by Friday, according to one insider, and another said his final show might even be Monday or Tuesday evening.
“First they came for Roger Ailes, then Bill O’Reilly, then Bill Shine—and then Sean Hannity started to get antsy, because he didn’t have anymore friends to eat lunch with,” chides Rothkopf.
“After facing more than a dozen lawsuits alleging either racial discrimination, sexual harassment, or gender bias, Fox News is losing another executive. This time, according to reports, it’s co-president Bill Shine,” reported Prachi Gupta earlier today.
Shine was Ailes's righthand guy, and involved in carrying out Ailes's attacks on enemies, including instructing Fox talent to go after me

His departure comes less than two weeks after Fox dropped its top star, Bill O’Reilly, after the New York Times revealed that Fox News had quietly made settlement payments in five sexual harassment lawsuits against O’Reilly. When a mass of advertisers pulled out, James and Lachlan Murdoch moved to terminate O’Reilly’s employment immediately at the end of April.
Fox News has been sued dozens of times for sexual harassment or gender-based discrimination over the years, several times in the last month alone, says Gupta.
