Too often too many male astronomers are taking their eyes off the skies and affixing them on women along with their unwanted attention. A recent scandal involving Geoff Marcy a leading astronomer and professor at Berkeley has created an awareness of a problem that is deeper than one incident.  In an attempt to bring change the American Astronomical Society yearly conference made a point of convening a panel on sexual harassment.  The discussion isn’t just one that has to happen in the field of astronomy but all of the sciences.  As Sarah Scoles so eloquently states,

… it has been a tough forever for women in astronomy—and women in science, and also just women—who have been dealing with harassment and discrimination since always.
