Six officers have been accused in the death of Freddie Gray. The first officer who was tried ended in a hung jury.  Officer William Porter has been asked to testify by prosecutors against the officers.  His attorneys have a filed an appeal to overturn a lower court’s ruling that compelled him to testify. The Court of Appeals has agreed to hear the case to expedite the process and until they decide has put the trials on hold.
