This piece is an expose of what women have gone through working for the National Park Service. Tale after tale of women facing sexual harassment and intimidation over a period of years is documented in detail and leaves no doubt as to what too many women went through at the hands of co-workers and supervisors. Often alone in the wilderness with a male counterpart, women are vulnerable to harassment and assault. The depth and breadth of this sexualized culture, traumatizes women, forcing many of them quit and leave jobs that they loved and worked hard for.
