Ivy Park, Beyonce’s new activewear clothing line stops at a size 14. According to the CDC, the average American woman is a size 14, but the average African American woman is 20 lbs heavier than that. Beyonce is no stranger to fashion and had another clothing line with her mother that made clothing in larger sizes. Why exclude so many African-American women from your customer base? Why the change?
