If you don’t support Bernie and support Hillary you could be in for a rough time on Twitter and other Social Media where many who support the “Bern” are not conducting themselves with decorum, to say the least. Examples of misogyny are prevalent, and most of the ugly comments are coming from men. One supporter “Tim Russo, a masters of international relations student at Cleveland State University, is an ardent Sanders supporter” excuses his behaviour, “He says the tone of tweets like his are confrontational and meant to be - this is a “revolution”, he reasons, and he is trying to challenge establishment Democrats.”
A revolution doesn’t come about when you don’t allow others to hold a different point of view, and it doesn’t come about when you lead with your patriarchal attitude that disparages women. Bernie supporters had better check themselves and their attitudes as they don’t do their candidate a service.
