Bernie’s Run Against A Woman Before

This isn’t the first time Bernie Sanders has run against a woman. He ran for Governor of Vermont against Madeleine May Kunin and lost receiving only 14% of the vote. He ran as an independent and was quoted as saying, “It is absolutely fair to say you are dealing with Tweedledum and Tweedledee. ” when referring to the difference between Republicans and Democrats. Once again his focus was on class issues, just as they are now.  Sexism, racism take a back seat to economic inequality. If it were only that simple.
