Coal Company Cuts Benefits, Pays Executives Millions

Coal company, Alpha Natural Resources, who has declared bankruptcy is paying its executives millions of dollars in incentivized bonuses as they take steps to bring the company out of bankruptcy. These are the very same executives that led the company into bankruptcy.  Meanwhile, Alpha has proposed cutting the benefits to it employees, including the taking away their health insurance, disability and obligations to retired coal workers.  Millions in bonuses for executives and zero for the men and women on whose backs the company has been built.
