Ban Homework In Elementary School

The research is clear. Homework in elementary school does not impact kids’ learning in a positive way, in fact, it may do the opposite.  Kids can become frustrated and anxious and start to turn off to learning.  Even in middle school, the studies show that there is very little benefit.  It is only when kids hit high school that it starts to make a difference and only if it is less than two hours.
