Air Force Gen. Lori Robinson To Be Nominated To Combatant Command

Air Force Gen. Lori Robinson, a four-star general will be nominated to head up Northcom.  If approved by the Senate, she would be the first woman to ever oversee a combatant command. The world is divided into four distinct combatant sections, Northcom, short for Northern command, is in charge of defending our shores.
