Arjuna Capital is going after Amazon, just like they did Apple. They pushed Apple to close the gender pay gap by filing a resolution to that effect to be voted on by shareholders. Amazon went to the SEC to prevent the vote on the resolution, but were turned down. Arjuna Capital is an activist division of Balwin Brothers Inc.   They have filed seven other resolutions with tech companies for the explicit purpose of addressing the gender pay wage gap. 61% of Amazon’s employees are men.
