The war in Syria has killed at least 400,000 people and left 13 million more in need of some humanitarian aid, and there is still no end in sight, despite the multinational forces and ongoing peace talks in Geneva.

Katherine Davies was sitting in a cafe in London when the idea hit her. She decided she was going to walk to Geneva from London, right then and there, reports Lucy Westcott.

She eventually walked 600 miles in 55 days in order to hand-deliver hundreds of public messages of support for peace in Syria to Staffan De Mistura, the U.N. special envoy to Syria.
