Charlotte Cooper is fat and she wants to be called fat, not obese, not pleasantly plump, not overweight, but just plain fat.  She is a fat activist who is challenging how we deal with fat people, how we look at them and think about their worth in society. She has come up with her own lexicon of words with their definitions as it applies to fat people.

For instance,

“Thin:  A person who is not fat. A person who is better-looking, healthier, more intelligent, more likely to succeed in life, sexier, more lovable and better to be with than any fat person. A very good and virtuous and normal person.”
