Early Friday morning, the Planned Parenthood center in Pullman, Washington was set on fire and then burned for three hours. By nightfall, the Pullman Fire Department had determined that the suspicious fire was in fact arson.
Less than two weeks before the clinic was set ablaze, 500 anti-abortion protestors, sponsored by an outside Idaho-based anti-abortion group, had gathered there, repeating allegations that Planned Parenthood “sells baby parts” and calling for the organization to be defunded.
This is just the latest in a round of attacks on abortion clinics that have been going on for decades. We could have seen it coming, say Samantha Allen.
