Most people know the devastating effects of alcoholism. It is a disease that has taken countless lives and ruined many families. The most prevalent course of treatment is abstinence and trips to Alcoholics Anonymous, but sadly for many that doesn’t work. Yet, the establishment clings to it as if there is not other option. But a drug by the name of Naltrexone has changed that. There is another option for some and it is time we all started talking about it. - JH
