Mostafa Hassoun was planning to go to college. He was planning to be an architect. Now he is making deli sandwiches and working two jobs to survive in his new home of Annapolis, Maryland. 23 year old Hassoun was granted refugee status six months ago after leaving Syria almost two years ago. He is the only member of his family who made it here. His mother and sisters are spread throughout Europe. He is here for the American Dream. Will his neighbors help him or hinder him on his journey? Is it still possible to come here and dream of better days and a new life?
