There is no doubt who sits on the Supreme Court matters. If a Republican were to be elected President, he could change the balance of power for generations to come. From voting rights to abortion to healthcare to birth control to LGBT rights to freedom from religion, and gun control all are issues that the court could weigh in on and dramatically alter depending on their point of view. It is by far one of the most long-lasting impacts a President can have.
