That image of the big burger with the fries or that slice of pizza with the cheese melting down the sides have an impact on what we eat and how much.  Two new studies show a direct correlation between advertisements for food and what we eat, with kids being much more dramatically influenced. So when your child is watching that TV show and sees ads for Pizza Hut or McDonalds that is influencing what they ask for and what choices they make when it comes to eating.  Poor choices and too much food lead to obesity.

Some want there to be regulations on advertising unhealthy foods to children, just as we no longer allow ads for cigarettes.
