Joan Baez has been a part of music and politics for over 55 years. An extraordinary voice combined with a passion for social justice her career has encompassed so many moments that have defined us as a nation, from her marching and friendship with Martin Luther King Jr. to the protests of the sixties to being the one who brought attention Bob Dylan and his music, she has lent her voice to the changing times. Still singing and still passionate she is celebrating her 75th birthday by performing in concerts across the nation.
