All flight attendants who work for British Airways can now wear pants to work. The change comes after a two-year dispute over how the company’s dress code applies to women.
Certain female crew members of British Airways “mixed fleet,” employees who fly a combination of long and short-haul destinations, were previously required to wear British Airways’ standard “ambassador” uniform, which did not include pants, reports Tara Culp-Ressler.
The crew’s union said that, with the change, the airline is finally “joining the 21st century.”
It is exactly,
Safety is first.
