Some say that real books are bound for the dust heap but don’t bet your life on ebooks just yet. Real books have been around since the advent of the printing press in the 15th century. And people are still reading stories on paper nowadays as often as they are reading stories on a screen, writes Rachael Berkey.
As Berkey points out, technology and the internet may have given us “a whole new level of accessibility that doesn’t mean that a five hundred year old technology is dead.” There are roughly 7 billion people on Earth. Only 3 billion are online.
