Gloria Steinem is soon to be 82 years of age, and she is still as controversial as she was 50 years ago. This time, it’s her being featured in a Lands’ End ad that has caused a great deal of controversy. When pro-lifers and conservatives found her in their beloved catalog, they were not happy, and they let Lands’ End know that they would no longer buy from them if they didn’t remove her. Lands’ End capitulated and apologized.
Now, however, they are risking the ire of women who believe in equality and reproductive rights and who are also now calling for a boycott.
