Erin Andrews was awarded 55 million dollars by the jury in her lawsuit against her stalker, Michael David Barrett and the hotel where she was filmed. Barrett doesn’t have the money, and the company that owns the hotel will likely appeal which typically means that both sides will try to settle. After paying her legal fees and costs and taxes, there will be nothing remotely close to even the half that was awarded to her to be paid by the hotel. If lucky she is looking at well under 10 million dollars.
