Floridian Jamie Gilt is a big gun advocate. She takes pictures of herself with her child and her gun. She has been quoted as saying that her son, “gets jacked up to target shoot with the .22.” On her way to pick up a pony, her son, a four-year-old somehow got a hold of a loaded .45 caliber handgun and shot her from the backseat through the seat into her back. She is in stable condition. According to the Daily News, “’Florida, Statute makes it a misdemeanor for a person to store or leave, on a premise under his or her control, a loaded firearm in such a manner that it is likely a child can gain access to the firearm.'”
Gilt is an avid gun enthusiast and supporter of Ted Cruz.
