A FlyDubai plane crashed while trying to land Rostov-on-Don airport in Russia. All 62 people on board were killed. The Russian authorities believe that very poor weather conditions and possible pilot error were to blame. There is no indication that terrorism was involved.

This is very sad. It was extremely windy, and the pilots flew the plane around for two hours waiting for an opportunity to land. They must have felt that they had one, but sadly it didn’t work. Too bad that they couldn’t have flown to a safer airport to land during those two hours.
