Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, was awarded $115 million dollars in his lawsuit against Gawker Media, founder Nick Denton and former editor A.J. Daulerio. Hogan sued after they release a tape of him having sex with another man’s wife while Hogan was still married. Gawker argued that because Hogan had talked about his personal life in the media that he was fair game. The jury disagreed and awarded Hogan $15 million dollars more that what he sued for. On Monday, the jury is set to meet to determine punitive damages which could substantially up the amount he is due. Gawker says they intend to appeal.
