Daniel Barden was only seven years old when he was killed in the Sandy Hook massacre. His parents have been politically active ever since and are part of the lawsuit against Remington Arms, who manufactures the gun that Adam Lanza used that December. The gun is the AR-15, which is a military weapon that is specifically used to increase casualties. Bernie Sanders voted against a bill that would allow people to sue gun manufacturers and continues to say that to support a bill is to end, “gun manufacturing in America.'”
