The last time a supersonic jet was in the air was 2003. A new company Boom Technology, is now looking to resurrect supersonic travel. Virgin Galactic signed on last week to help develop and build the aircraft. Boom hopes to be able to make the flight between New York City and London in 3.4 hours. They also have plans to fly between L.A. and Sydney and San Francisco to Toyko.
