Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books served as the foundation for the long beloved TV series Little House on The Prarie. As time has gone on, and more clear eyes have examined the series, the anti-Native-American sentiments and descriptions have lost their lustre.

But people are still fascinated by Wilder’s story.  A newly released book, The Selected Letters of Laura Ingalls Wilder, by William Anderson paints a fuller picture of her life as well as revealing the relationship between Wilder and her famous libertarian daughter, Rose Wilder Lane, giving a unique insight into their contentious bonds as mother and daughter and as collaborators.
