Governments negotiating the climate change agreement in Paris are ‘extremely close to the finish line.’ According to the French foreign minister, talks are likely to run over into Saturday, reports Suzanne Goldenberg. It’s really quite remarkable given that negotiations to keep temperatures in check have been going on for more than 20 years, with many highs and lows, but ultimately little success.
