Christopher Evans Hubbart was released from a California mental hospital in 2014. Also know as the ‘pillowcase rapist,’ Hubbart was confined to a mental hospital for intense treatment, after he had finished serving his prison sentence. Now, he will test the premise of a California law that seeks to successfully rehabilitate some of the state’s worst sex offenders in order to return them to society.
