Migrant Boat Sinks, At Least 33 Dead

A boat carrying over 100 migrants has sunk off the coast of the Greek Island of Lesvos.  At least 33 people have been confirmed dead, five of them were children. The migrants were from Syria, Afghanistan and Myanmar. Escaping war-ravaged homes and seeking a new life too many have died on the journey, as unscrupulous smugglers have offered passage on overcrowded, unsafe boats that too often lead to death and not freedom.
