Front-runner Donald Trump is expected to extend his lead on Saturday, with projected wins in Kansas, Louisiana, Maine and Kentucky—earning him a total of 155 delegates. All this, despite efforts by party elders, Mitt Romney and John McCain, to slow the Trump phenomenon.

The former reality TV star canceled his plans to speak at CPAC on Friday and will instead speak at a rally in Kansas. The conference has been viewed in past years as an essential stop for Republicans hopefuls. But then, Trump hasn’t ever played by the rules.
