The Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives chaired by Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R) was created in response to the videos released by discredited anti-abortion group, Center for Medical Progress. It spliced video together to make it look like Planned Parenthood was selling the fetal tissue from abortions for profit. Several state investigations have found no wrongdoing on the part of Planned Parenthood. The House committee run by the GOP has disregarded all the evidence and is being used as a platform to attack abortion without any of the facts on hand.
